Grimaldi Group, Naples held it’s annual summer reception in Malta on the evening of Friday the 13th July at the Quarterdeck Bar, Hilton. This event, that has now become part of the annual calendar, was attended by all the Port authorities, the service providers and the Line’s local clients.
In the highly suited maritime décor of the Hilton Quarterdeck, guests were welcomed by Dr. Eugenio Grimaldi, Manager of Short Sea Services together with Cav. Ernest E Sullivan, Managing Director of Malta Motorways of the Sea and Sullivan Maritime Ltd, agents in Malta for Grimaldi Group. They delivered a short address and were joined by Capt. David Bugeja on behalf of TM.
Dott. Grimaldi covered the Line’s activities and plans including new and ground-breaking state of the art tonnage that will run on lithium batteries upon entry in the port thereby eliminating all possible pollution. He further pledged his Group’s support to continue to serve Malta with maritime links to the European continent. While thanking all the Maltese clients for their support, he also presented them with a small commemorative gift.
